Who We Are

“I sing a song of the saints of God” describes well the congregation of St. John’s. As Bishop Poulson described it upon entering our Parish Hall for luncheon after Eucharist, “This looks like what the Kindgom of God must look like.” From those in the medical and legal professions to our homeless guests, St. John’s warmly welcomes all who enter. We have school teachers, realtors, physical therapists, computer technicians, graphic artists, architects, supervisors, secretaries and counselors. We have many who have retired from their professions. We have people we help to find jobs, too, and those incapable of working. We are God’s own imperfect people, striving to become better and more willing to serve others. Love God. Love your neighbor. That’s who we are and what we strive to do.
